If you want to sell, giveaway, or provide stickier visitors to your blog, you need to consider using video. What you can do with videos you have permission to use on your site:
1) Of course, you can always embed Youtube videos, etc. into your site, but the drawback of that, if you're trying to make money online, is that you can be pointing to other marketers' sites and lead people away from your own site - not in your best interest. Yes, it's legal to show such videos on your site - since Youtube, Google Video, etc. make posters agree that their video can be shown publicly. (advantage of using the embed link is that the bandwidth cost is on them).

2) There are other ways to show your own videos, that have YOUR affiliate links, branded website, etc. That is by getting videos that give you full rights to edit and either resell, or provide to your members. They include tutorial videos, information vids, and even review/preview videos of a products you are promoting.
